Have 2nd and 3rd Class relics of saints/blesseds been used in Exorcisms? For example, if someone brought Bl. Carlo Acutis' Playstation controller into an exorcism, would it be effective? (I saw this question from a Catholic meme page on Instagram and was curious as to what you think Fr. Martin.)

“God is no longer your Father”
I’ve heard Fr Martins occasionally mention that mortal sins severe our ties with God such that he is “no longer our Father.” Could he say more about this in connection to the “indelible” mark of baptism? How do we best understand the relationship between mortal sin and indelible baptism? Thanks!
Contractual Obligation in the Heavenly Realm?
Fr Martins often discusses how legalistic and contractually-oriented the demonic realm is. Is something like this true at all of the heavenly realm as well, especially in regards to prayer? I’ve heard some theologians suggest one way to understand the necessity of prayer is to see it as our way of permitting God to act upon us (per his covenant) without moving against our free will. That prayer provides God the legal or moral grounds to do what he already wants to do. Prayer as a “trigger clause” in the contract that is God’s covenant with His Church. Interested to hear if Fr. Martins thinks there is anything to that?

Hello Father and Ryan! In horror movies/books one of the cliche motivators to do an exorcism is because if the demon is too long in the victim, it will kill the victim. Like with a disease the victim’s health and wellbeing drastically decreases until they die. Is there any truth to that? What does happen to people who are possessed for years and don’t (or haven’t previously) sought liberation?? Many thanks, Paddy.

Deacon Blessings
I feel like I might be called to the Diaconate. I've read some disparaging comments on their ability to bless items specifically with a book of blessings Deacons receive. Can Deacons exorcise salt and water in say the old rite or what blessings can Deacons use? Are there any specific books of blessings you can recommend?
Demons reading thoughts
Hello! I believe I’ve heard Father Martins say that demons cannot read our thoughts, but I thought I heard him say that one responded to a command he gave in his head. I might be mixing that up with another exorcist, I can’t find the exact quote. I’m not trying to play “gotcha” , I’m just curious about his thoughts on that, if I misunderstood, or if he could expand on that. Thank you!
Authority in families
Hello, How does spiritual authority work in families where the woman is the leader? For example, does a mother assume leadership authority over the family if the father is suffering from any disease, whether psychological, physical or even spiritual? Or the father may not know or want to lead. Can you share what this dynamic looks like in your ministry? Are families led by women at a higher risk of attacks? Can you share an example of a prayer that a parent can say for their child that is over the age of reason? Thank you! God bless you.
Ed and Lorraine Warren
I have seen a couple of the Conjuring movies and enjoyed them. My understanding is that Ed and Lorraine Warren were approved as lay exorcists by the Vatican. Is this true? What does Father Martins think of the Warrens and the Conjuring movies in general? (Both Warrens are now deceased but their stories are fascinating).
Blurry Creatures interview follow up and thoughts on the “creatures” other than demons
I listened to a few episodes after your interview but stopped. It was terrifying (like a “sorry guys there’s nothing to do about creatures until Christ comes back lock your doors”). Your podcast does the opposite and gives hope in Christ.
Feeling closer to God
How do you feel closer to God? I’m assuming the sacraments, doing mass, prayer but one of the reasons I’m so drawn to this podcast is because the evidence of the devil constantly reaffirms He is there, in control. Sometimes you pray, you do good deeds, take your sacraments, etc but you still don’t feel him. The devil seems to actively show himself much more than God or is it just the illusion, the lie? I’d love your advice and ideas Fr Martins! I’m a HUGE fan, I love you guys and the work you’re doing!!! God bless
Intersession of Angels and their assistance
I’ve always had, and especially recently, have had a deep love for the holy Angels and in particular for me Saint Raphael, as I work as a paramedic in and around Philly and have sought his assistance to guide my mind and hand in my line of work and have felt his guidance and help. I’ve always held a great reverence and appreciation for them as I feel their immense power in a way can be overlooked when people get fixated on focusing on discussing the demonic. I was a wonder in when if I ver you’ve personally asked for the intercession of the archangels during an exorcism, if there was a reaction from the demon, if anything at all occurred when you asked this and for my own curiosity particularly if there were any cases where Raphael specifically was of great spiritual assistance in the persons liberation a deliverance or healing, or if the demon held a great level of fear or hatred for him.
How does the church view mediums?
In a previous episode, a former high priestess of the occult stated that nobody is born with “natural” gifts. There has been a popular movement in Hollywood with celebrity mediums. These mediums claim that their “gifts” started appearing in early childhood, for example ghosts would appear to them with messages. These mediums seem to be well intentioned by helping families find closure with their loved ones that have passed. What is the church’s opinion on people who claim to have been born with these gifts? Should they ignore communication from the hidden realm? Or are these gifts, in fact, not natural. Was there a pact made somewhere in order to receive this knowledge and abilities?
