Question about Confession
First of all, I’d like to thank you both for your work. Your podcast has answered so many long-standing questions and helped strengthened my faith in Christ. I think it’s a “know your enemy” kind of thing. Anyway, I’m not a Catholic, though I have been baptized - twice. I’ve recently felt a calling to participate in Confession. I’ve been raised to believe that I have a ‘direct line’ to Jesus through prayer. What’s the difference between confessing my sins in prayer versus seeing a Catholic priest for Confession?
Music
Can music cause possession, oppression or open portals? I have heard that some frequencies and beats have demons in them. My question is mainly directed to EDM(electronic dance music). It is a genre I enjoy that employs a lot of manufactured beats using turntables and synthesizers. Are any beats in music dangerous?
Accupuncture
Hello Father Martins, I was wondering if accupuncture is something demonic, like yoga. When I was pregnant (with triplets) I was offered accupuncture in the hospital and I accepted. I felt uneasy the entire time and had trouble relaxing. I am concerned that I may have opened a door for me and my children as well, since I was carrying them. This might be completely unrelated, but all three have special needs like Autism and ADHD even though no neither I nor my husband or their grandparents have been diagnosed or have the same symptoms as them. I feel a lot of guilt over it.
