Howdy - Love the show...You didn't mentioned the generational curse that Jesus put on the current generation in Jerusalem, in Matthew 23:31. Doesn't this mean that generational curses are not just an Old Testment thing? "Thus you witness against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell?[f] 34 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, 35 that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of innocent Abel to the blood of Zechari′ah the son of Barachi′ah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. 36 Truly, I say to you, all this will come upon this generation." Thanks- Ray
Hello! I have always wondered if it’s ok to let my children participate in Halloween activities, aka trick or treating, dressing up, attending parties. It’s so immersed in the culture that it’s hard to avoid it. Even in my kid’s catholic school they have a festival… don’t know how to approach this!
I have a relic stone of St. Michael that I keep safe in my satchel of the Holy Name of Jesus and wear it around my neck at all times. I have committed mortal sin while wearing, did this action break the blessings that come through this relic? Do I need to get it blessed because of my actions that were mortal or does it still retain the blessings and protection when I first received the relic stone? I have been told several times that I am scrupulous but what to ask for the sake of peace of conscience.
I've noticed satan worship clubs, evil eye jewelry, witchcraft, yoga, pride flags, and meditation are present and "normalized" in schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. Teachers are being mandated to be "inclusive" and to accept and celebrate the genders/beliefs a student may be exploring or identifying as. How does this specifically impact Christian teachers and students who work in these environments? Within a public school, can these practices (mindfulness, meditation, yoga, completing projects in Greek mythology, exposure to inappropriate story/chapter books) or objects (ie. pride flags, salt lamps, a buddha statue on a teachers desk) open doors to diabolical affliction to anyone? Is one practice or exposure more dangerous than another? How can Christian teachers, students and parents protect themselves and their families from diabolical influence? Does Christ call us to view this environment as an opportunity to evangelize or are we offending Him by remaining in these environments? In regards to witchcraft, if students or teachers are actively practicing this, do they have the authority to curse a friend or teacher within a school? Can their practice directly or indirectly afflict friends, classmates, teachers, etc.? In your opinion Father Martins, can this be one of the reasons why we are seeing a rise in school shootings and a breakdown in families?
