Psychic mediums who claim to be Catholic
Hello Farther, I’d like to know your thoughts on psychic mediums, like John Edward, who have made a living from claiming to be able to contact the dead and help them ‘crossover’ and Ed and Lorraine Warren who affiliated themselves with the Catholic Church while performing seances. John Edward in particular made a statement during one of his big room readings that he never does a reading without first praying the rosary. I feel like they are trying to validate their actions by saying that they are Catholics or have some sort of ‘approval’ from the Church.
Holy Ground
In two episodes it's been mentioned about an exorcist priest being tormented with things like flies in the chalice during Mass. Isn't the church, especially the sanctuary, holy ground? How can demons have any power to mess with the priest during Mass? or with the wine or host?
Fr Martins invlolved in case file number 3 of season 1?
Not to sound too critical, nor am I trying to discredit anyone, but one thing that confuses me is the case file with those guys messing with the Oujia board. Fr Martins is not at all mentioned in this story, so it makes me wonder how this particular case concerned him and how it is a first hand account of his. Thank you Exorcist Files team for all you do!
