Father, are my prayers efficacious for my step children, who are grown? And their children (step- grandchildren)? My stepson has 2 children, getting a divorce. His wife practices witchcraft (according to my step-son) She never allowed the kids to be in our life but now we see them on the weekends since the impending divorce. The grandkids are age 6 and 3. I asked if both parents would want to baptize the children and my stepson said his wife (soon to be ex- wife) would probably not agree. What can I do? I feel like they are sitting ducks so to speak going into the world without the protection of baptism. Thank you and Ryan, I love your jokes!!!! Haha

Am I crazy to think that part (emphasis on “part”) of the reason for our existence is for the devil, the ultimate sinner, to seek redemption through humanity? Yes, saying it out loud sounds crazy but maybe not so illogical, or is it? I once heard a Catholic priest say that God loves all his creations, so I often wonder if all means ALL. After all, we have been asked to love our enemy and we all know who the ultimate enemy is, right? And yes, I’m aware of the difference between loving our enemy versus worshipping the enemy, which is not what I am referring to. When God says to forgive and love our enemy, isn’t the devil included? Now, I’m not saying that we should openly embrace the devil and his evil acts, no no no! but if it ever came to one day for all humanity to rejected sin in its totality (what God has been asking us) thus defeating evil, wouldn’t that act as yet another lesson for the devil to give up his act? Do I sound delusional? perhaps, heck even I think I might be lol,but after becoming a dad myself, I ponder… if God is almighty (which He is), then why not just rid of the devil, just like that? But then I hear that God LOVES all his creations - also, I am NOT saying that God created Satan in its current evil form either so please do not misinterpret my words; therefore, could it be that even the devil himself can also achieve redemption and he’s just currently going through his rebellious “teenage” years? As a loving Father, you want what’s best for your children and some tough love is needed at times, hence going to hell. Now bringing it back to my original question; I’ve heard from some of the episodes that it is best to avoid any sort of conversation with the demons because they will lie and are very deceitful, but has anyone ever told a demon to seek God’s forgiveness? We are also thought that God is compassionate, to levels that our puny little minds can’t even comprehend, but is he not THAT compassionate? I believe that he is, I have no reason to doubt this. I mean maybe they don’t know that they can ask for forgiveness because they too have been deceived by the devil, right? I look forward to hear how crazy or delusional I may be lol, thanks!
Often I hear Father Martin talk about Adam and Eve and the fall of man as the beggining of sin, and that before that we were in union with God. Sin then becomes one of the ways in which the demonic can enter is. My question is, does father believe in the Geniaus story of creation and the fall of man literally or symbolically?
